What it does

Do you need one, or is YouTube enough?

For one platform, now and then, YouTube Live on its own is fine. But YouTube scans live audio for copyrighted music and can mute or cut off a stream, which often catches weddings, funerals and services with background music. Private moments like these, or an internal company event, rarely belong on a public platform anyway. A live streaming platform lets you stream them on your own website, reach several platforms at once, or stay live 24/7 without a computer running.
